Kerry Pakula is vice president of marketing at the National Retail Federation. She is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies that strengthen the NRF brand portfolio.
With 20 years of experience in multi-unit, high-growth retail, Pakula specializes in connecting consumers with retail brands that express their personal style. Pakula came to NRF from Ashley Furniture HomeStores, where she was responsible for the leadership of integrated marketing for the global retail and ecommerce division of Ashley Furniture.
Prior to Ashley Furniture HomeStores, Pakula served as vice president of marketing for MyEyeDr, where she transformed the brand strategy to support aggressive acquisition plans and drive comparable store growth. In this role she led integrated, new-market expansion plans that launched the company to its status as a top 10 optical retailer.
Early in her career, Pakula led the brand evolution for Hair Cuttery, the largest privately held salon chain in the United States. Pakula transformed the consumer experience through data-driven insights and marketing innovation, propelling growth from 600 locations to nearly 1,000 during her tenure. Pakula spearheaded many firsts for Hair Cuttery, including international expansion and an exclusive luxury haircare line.
Pakula graduated cum laude with a business degree from George Washington University.
