Father's Day spending to hit $20.1 billion
2021 is turning out to be a banner year for all of the dads out there. Total spending for the holiday will surpass last year’s record figure of $17 billion.

As we make our way closer to the pandemic finish line, consumers are ready to show Dad some love this Father's Day.

  • 75 percent of consumers plan to celebrate Father's Day
  • The average consumer is set to spend an estimated $174.10 on Father’s Day gifts
  • Top gift categories include personal care, home and gardening and tools and appliances

About the survey: The 2021 survey of U.S. adults 18 and older was conducted in May and has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.1 percentage points.
