The LP Council is exclusively open to the most-senior loss prevention or asset protection executive from NRF member companies. The council’s goal is to collaborate on issues of common loss prevention and asset protection challenges facing the retail industry and recognizing the role of these areas in a complete enterprise security risk management program. Council meetings provide senior leaders with a forum for peer sharing and exchanging of information regarding trends and developments.
Council meetings include engagement with industry speakers, member presentations on new initiatives and discussions on key issues and topics, all supported in a closed-door, vendor-free environment to support candid and focused conversations.
The LP Council meets in person twice annually during Retail’s Big Show (held annually each January in New York City) and NRF PROTECT (held annually each June). In addition, the council host two virtual meetings and hosts supporting webinars and Council engagement calls when issues or situations arise.
The LP Council extends invitations to the most senior LP/AP executive within NRF retail member companies, such as chief global asset protection officer, chief security officer, SVP, EVP, GVP, VPs, director or head of loss prevention, asset protection or safety.
