In their own words: Why you should attend NRF PROTECT

Make the most of retail’s premier event for loss prevention, asset protection, digital fraud and cyber risk
VP, Education Strategy

Old-timers and nostalgia buffs will recall the Dragnet catchphrase, “Just the facts, ma’am.” Back then, stern, no-nonsense Sergeant Joe Friday had no time for beating around the bush; he wanted to get right to the heart of the matter.

Applying that same approach to NRF PROTECT, which kicks off on June 5 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, we asked a handful of repeat attendees to share what they find most valuable about attending PROTECT.

Here are some of the responses we received.

“NRF PROTECT is an opportunity to hear from and network with colleagues from across a variety of retail verticals. Whether or not those retailers are in the same vertical as my company, many of the challenges are the same so I am able to always take away thoughts or ideas that I can apply to my company.”
James Cosseboom, LPC, Director, Asset Protection, Retail Business Services, an Ahold Delhaize USA company

“Participation in the NRF’s PROTECT conference provides retail risk and asset protection professionals the opportunity to network, benchmark and learn from industry peers and leaders, as well as established, and/or build upon law enforcement Fusion Center partnerships. PROTECT’s Expo floor showcases third-party vendor engagement opportunities essential to supporting the ever-changing retail risk landscape.”
Megan Curtis, Executive Director, Global Asset Protection and Safety, Walt Disney Company

“PROTECT gives me the opportunity to spend time with my team in a professional setting focused on learning and innovation. We enjoy sharing our learnings and discussing how we can develop ourselves and strengthen our department. The networking and sharing of ideas with talented colleagues and vendors in our industry is invaluable. PROTECT is a great example of a community coming together to drive positive change for the future.”
Catherine Stasiowski, Vice President, Loss Prevention and Safety, Total Wine & More

“The boost in ideas, creativity and excitement for my team (is tops). I’ve been doing the ‘show’ circuit for almost 25 years, and it just never gets old. Seeing old colleagues and friends, connecting with new vendors and tech, and I’d be remiss not to mention the social events. See you in Dallas!”
James Palmer, Senior Director, Chief Security Officer, U.S. Coast Guard

“PROTECT is a great event during which you can expand your professional network, leverage industry best practices, meet new professionals and learn about new products and solutions.”
Gabriel Esposito, Director-Security, Loss Prevention and Public Safety Outreach, Verizon

NRF PROTECT runs June 5-7. It’s not too late to register and join the more than 1,200 folks who are already planning to attend. Be there to catch up on the facts and the fun.
