Quay Wembley

Quay Wembley is a commercial contracts attorney at the National Retail Federation, where he supports teams across the organization in keeping deals moving and business initiatives on track. He leads the drafting, review and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements while partnering directly with internal stakeholders to balance practical business needs with legal risk. He also owns NRF’s contract lifecycle system, driving process improvements, building templates and strengthening workflows to make contracting more efficient, consistent and intuitive across the organization. 

Before joining NRF, Wembley worked as a corporate associate focused on domestic and cross-border M&A and business transactions, advising clients across industries on deals, commercial agreements and governance matters. He also practiced employment litigation, representing clients in disputes involving discrimination, retaliation and wage and hour issues, which strengthened his ability to assess risk from both a transactional and dispute-resolution perspective. 

Wembley is a proud graduate of East Carolina University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, grilling, bowling and hunting for unique finds in thrift stores.
