How Crate and Barrel is adapting to new customer needs

Crate and Barrel sold more bread machines in April than it did in all of 2019. And that's just one small instance of how the pandemic has changed the business. Like most retailers with a strong physical presence, Crate and Barrel had to make some significant changes in operations while stores were closed, and again in the process of reopening. 

CEO Neela Montgomery joined the Retail Gets Real team in January to talk about her journey to retail and becoming the head of one of America's most popular home brands. A few weeks ago, NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay talked with Montgomery about the brand's current operations during NRF's Retail Leadership Series.
