How Showfields redefines the store experience

Sr. Director, Content Strategy
Retail Gets Real is sponsored by
Tal Zvi Nathanel, founder of SHOWFIELDS
Tal Zvi Nathanel, CEO of Showfields, will speak at NRF 2020 Vision: Retail's Big Show, to be held Jan. 12-14 in New York.

While many retail brands are trying to add customer experiences that draw people into the store, Showfields goes a step further, creating a new retail model entirely focused on the consumer experience. Tal Nathanel, CEO of Showfields, sees an opportunity to create "the most interesting store in the world" by creating a space where consumers can engage with the emerging brands they find online, making an immersive customer experience the centerpiece of its business model.

Showfields works with digital brands that want to expand their footprint with physical stores, developing a unique physical experience for each of them that combines elements of art, theater and interactive activations to create a memorable experience.

"We literally broke down the process of opening a store, making it as easy as opening a website. And by doing that, we have unlocked retail to many more players and, also, made it possible for them to have their physical touchpoint," Nathanel says.

Listen to the full podcast to learn more about Nathanel's take on discovery in a physical store, what Nathanel calls the "five C's" of experiential retail, and how the team creates physical spaces that tell a story.
