NRF Encouraged by Senate Border Policy Deal

WASHINGTON – The National Retail Federation today issued the following statement from President and CEO Matthew Shay in response to the Senate introduction of the “Emergency National 4 Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024”:

“NRF acknowledges the bipartisan progress made in the Senate on border security and immigration reform. We applaud the senators for their work to address the long-standing challenges at the southern border. While viewing this compromise as a positive step forward, NRF encourages further congressional action to find common ground on effective solutions to foster a fully functional immigration system.”

As the leading authority and voice for retail, NRF will continue to advocate for policies that ensure the efficiency and functionality of our nation’s legal immigration system.
